Preferred video platform for connected properties

Alarm.com Security Camera Systems

Alarm.com is Centurion’s preferred video direction for appropriate homes and small businesses that want connected security and straightforward mobile use.

Video designed as part of a connected security plan

Alarm.com video can give authorized users a convenient way to view compatible cameras, receive selected alerts, and review recorded activity alongside supported intrusion or automation features. Centurion prefers the platform when the customer values one connected experience and the property, network, service package, and camera requirements fit. We still begin with the views that matter: entrances, drives, interior priorities, lighting, distance, identification needs, and the events the customer expects to understand later.

A useful camera plan is not measured by the number of notifications it creates. We define camera placement, field of view, mounting height, nighttime conditions, network availability, recording expectations, and alert rules before installation. Available analytics, clips, continuous recording options, and integration behavior vary by camera, recorder or service, and configuration. We explain those limits so the finished system supports real decisions rather than becoming a source of constant noise.

Local installation and ongoing support

Centurion installs Alarm.com cameras for qualifying homes, offices, shops, and small commercial properties throughout Troy, Miami County, and the greater Dayton area. We handle mounting, power or compatible cabling, network coordination, account setup, camera naming, selected alert configuration, and customer orientation. When video is part of a broader security project, we coordinate it with the intrusion and automation scope instead of treating each feature as an unrelated app.

We also evaluate existing Alarm.com video accounts when customers need troubleshooting, camera changes, service restoration, or a new local provider. Account ownership, service status, device generation, network quality, subscription features, and installed equipment affect what can be continued. Share the camera models, current app status, recording method, and problem when requesting service. We will determine whether focused support, network correction, compatible additions, or a replacement plan is the responsible next step.
