Plan pathways before finishes close

New-Construction Low-Voltage Prewire

Early low-voltage planning preserves useful pathways and puts cable where future systems will actually need it before walls and ceilings are finished.

Coordinate the systems before rough-in

A new-construction prewire should begin with the systems the property expects to use, not a generic bundle of cable. Centurion coordinates requirements for intrusion alarms, security cameras, access control, data and Wi-Fi, intercom, audio/video, and other approved low-voltage scopes. We review plans, room uses, equipment locations, door and camera positions, network spaces, service entrances, pathways, power coordination, ceiling conditions, and reasonable future needs before cable is installed.

Early decisions affect device locations, cable types, conduit, sleeves, back boxes, rack space, service loops, separation, labeling, testing, and coordination with electrical, framing, drywall, HVAC, doors, and finishes. We identify which scope is ready for exact cable placement and which areas need a pathway rather than speculative wiring. Future preparation should have a purpose. Adding cable everywhere without documentation or an anticipated use can create cost and confusion instead of flexibility.

Documented rough-in and project coordination

Centurion provides new-construction low-voltage prewire in Troy, Dayton, and qualifying residential or commercial projects throughout Ohio. We coordinate schedules and site access with the owner, general contractor, and relevant trades. Cable is routed and supported appropriately, ends are identified, equipment areas are organized, and required tests or records are captured for the defined scope. Changes are documented rather than left as unlabeled wire above a ceiling.

The prewire can support a later Centurion system installation or a clearly defined handoff where the project requires it. Final device compatibility, network design, fire-alarm requirements, and other regulated scopes remain subject to their own review. Contact us with plans, construction schedule, property use, systems under consideration, responsible trades, and target rough-in date. The earlier those details are available, the more effectively pathways and equipment spaces can be coordinated before finish work limits the options.
