Communication at doors and across properties

Intercom System Installation

Centurion plans intercom systems around who needs to communicate, where calls should go, and whether the system also participates in controlled entry.

Define the communication and entry workflow

An intercom may serve a front door, office, warehouse, multi-tenant entrance, gate, internal station, or other communication point. Centurion begins with the caller location, answering users, operating hours, audio or video need, release function, accessibility, network, cabling, power, weather exposure, and what should happen when no one answers. That workflow determines whether a simple station, network intercom, mobile response, or coordinated access-control design is appropriate.

Door release adds more than a button. Locking hardware, life-safety egress, request-to-exit operation, door position, power, wiring, accessibility, and the authority granted to the answering user all require review. Available mobile, directory, recording, integration, and remote-management features vary by platform and configuration. We keep communication, access control, surveillance, and customer expectations clearly separated even when selected systems can work together.

New installation and existing-system evaluation

Centurion installs intercom systems for qualifying homes and businesses throughout Troy, Miami County, and the greater Dayton area, with larger commercial projects considered elsewhere in Ohio. Work can include stations, door or gate units, cabling, network coordination, power, compatible release interfaces, user setup, labeling, and orientation. Other trades may be needed for doors, gates, electrical power, internet service, masonry, or specialty mounting, and those boundaries are identified during planning.

We can also evaluate an existing intercom that has poor audio, failed video, unreliable calling, release problems, network changes, damaged stations, unknown credentials, or obsolete equipment. Model information, wiring, power, lock interface, network, account ownership, and parts availability affect what can be serviced. Share photos, station models, number of locations, answering workflow, release requirements, current symptoms, and desired outcome when requesting help. We will determine whether focused service, selected replacement, or a redesigned intercom path is sensible.
