Infrastructure for displays, sound, and sources

Audio/Video Wiring

Centurion plans audio/video wiring around the source, display or speaker locations, control method, equipment space, pathway, and everyday use of the room.

Plan the signal path before choosing cable

Audio/video wiring may support displays, projectors, speakers, source equipment, meeting spaces, entertainment areas, paging interfaces, or other defined systems. Centurion begins with the content source, destination, distance, resolution or audio requirement, control method, equipment location, network dependence, power coordination, room layout, pathway, and the people who will operate the system. Cable selection follows those requirements rather than a generic assumption that one wire fits every application.

Projects can involve category cable, speaker cable, coaxial cable, optical or other approved signal paths, wall plates, equipment racks, backing, conduit, and service access. Signal standards, distance limits, copy protection, active extenders, ventilation, bend radius, speaker loading, separation, and future equipment changes may affect the plan. We identify where electronics, programming, electrical work, mounting, cabinetry, or specialty acoustics fall outside a wiring-only scope.

Prewire, retrofit, organization, and testing

Centurion installs audio/video wiring for homes and businesses throughout Troy, Miami County, and the greater Dayton area, with qualifying commercial projects considered elsewhere in Ohio. Work may occur during new construction, renovation, room changes, display relocation, equipment-rack cleanup, or a retrofit to a finished property. We route and support cable appropriately, label endpoints, terminate the agreed scope, and test connectivity or continuity as defined for the project.

For an estimate, provide room plans or photos, source and display or speaker locations, cable distances, equipment models if selected, desired control method, rack or cabinet location, ceiling and wall conditions, construction phase, finish expectations, and schedule. Existing cable can be traced and evaluated when reuse may be practical. We do not promise that an unknown in-wall cable will support a new signal format until its type, route, condition, and performance are understood. Clear infrastructure makes later equipment changes easier to manage.
