Automation that starts with a useful routine
Alarm.com can connect selected security, lock, lighting, thermostat, garage, video, and notification features when the installed equipment and service plan support them. Centurion begins by asking what the household wants to make easier: leaving for work, arriving home, managing guests, checking a garage door, adjusting temperature, or reducing the number of unrelated apps. A clear routine is a better design starting point than a list of every device that can be connected.
Qolsys IQ Panel hardware may provide the security foundation for a new Alarm.com system, while compatible automation devices extend selected controls. Model, radio, service-package, network, lock, thermostat, garage, lighting, and account compatibility all matter. We verify those requirements before proposing additions. The goal is a small number of understandable actions and alerts, not a complicated sequence that becomes difficult for the household to use or service.
Local setup, integration, and support
Centurion installs Alarm.com home-automation features throughout Troy, Miami County, and the greater Dayton area. Work may be part of a new security system or an addition to a compatible existing account. We coordinate device enrollment, naming, user access, selected rules, app setup, and customer orientation. When locks, thermostats, garage controls, lights, cameras, or intrusion devices cross different trades or networks, we identify those boundaries rather than implying one app removes every dependency.
We also troubleshoot existing Alarm.com automation when devices stop responding, routines no longer behave as expected, account access changes, or a customer needs a new local provider. Panel, account, service package, device generation, signal path, battery, network, and ownership status affect what can be restored. Share the panel and device models, app status, current provider, and desired routine when requesting service. We will determine whether configuration, device service, compatible replacement, or a simpler redesign is appropriate.
